Now what TikTok so marvelously does is that it is able to provide its customers with a customer-centric experience; what it means that once someone is hooked on TikTok for a while, they would only get recommended content that TikTok already know they are going to like. In the initial phase, after one installs the TikTok app for the first time, the AI behind the TikTok starts collecting data pointers of the user, what they like, what they do not like, and every little detail that could help the AI decide which content should it recommend to the user next. The AI behind TikTok continuously collects the data pointers of the user and creates a unique user profile, which helps in suggesting content to the user. This creates a loop, where the more the user stays on the platforms, the better their experience is going to be.
TikTok is not the first to use of AI algorithm, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc. all utilize Artificial Intelligence to provide their user with better user-centric content; while TikTok may not be the first, it sure is not going to be the last, but its rise has clearly shown the benefit of utilizing AI in apps.
